Crochet

Hello, been ages since I made something, however I have been busy teaching mysef to crochet and this is the result so far...I took ages on learning the basic stitches, but I love it..so relaxing and theraputic.....I learnt this craft from you tube and http://www.craftyminx.com/2011/11/crochet-school-.html/
this lady has a fabulous blog and her lessons are so easy to follow....thanks for popping by...Lorrainexx

Well done. I taught myself about 30 years ago from a book, I can really still only do basic like blankets and shawls and flowers. But the pattern you have just done makes great baby blankets and shawls and the bonus is it grows so much quicker than knitting. xxx

This is fab, not something I have ever been able to master! I can sew, but knitting/crochet - not a chance!

Well done, that is brilliant learning to crochet, and your square looks really good. I learned when I was little but my eyesight isn't up to it any more sadly. I always found crochet much more fun than knitting :-). Now you have the basic stitch mastered, the rest should be a lot easier to learn. Maddy x

Great job Lors! I can't crochet so I might just check out the site you suggested. I can knit a little bit & have started making frilly scarves lately. I love the colors you have used!
