My Grandson

Good morning from a dry and slightly sunny Edinburgh, no cards from me this week, been very busy with my gorgeous grandson, for those of you who remember, all these years ago when he was first born..well he is now a big 4 yrs old....it was his birthday yesterday, and oh my how time flies, he is such a joy to be around, yeah I'm biased but he truly is..we had him up to our football on sunday and quite a few people remarked not just how gorgeous he was but how well spoken he is...Iam so proud of him...but the poor wee mite took ill on monday so his birthday celebrations were too much for him yesterday....my daughter is taking him to the docs today..he is having a garden party on saturday with some of his friends from nursery, so I hope he is much better by then....thanks for listening to me rambling on but I'm a very proud granny...hope to get some cards done by the end of the week.....take care...Lorsxx

1st Birthday

Good morning,
I have just finished work, so while I'm waiting for the painkiller's to kick in I thought I'd post my latest card...I was asked by a friend to make this card for her nephew....I do enjoy making these type of cards, I always imagine their little faces lighting up when they open them...I used a square card blank, added some blue plain paper, then used the matching stripey paper for along the bottom..the image was a download I bought a while ago, not quite sure where from though...added a corner die cut from my stash as well as buttons and bow...the sentiment was from a craftwork card goody bag....I'm off to browse some blogs now....

Wedding

Hello and a very early good morning to you all, I was asked to make this card for a friend, I simply used a square card blank, paper from craftwork cards goody bag, marianne corner die, ribbon from stash, photo from my computer and flowers with black pearls, However before the card was handed over I added a memory box die to it, just behind the pic....I love using the marianne die, I personally think it really helps to make stunning cards....Iam entering this card into the following challenges;

21st Birthday

Good Evening,
Here is the commisioned birthday card i was asked to make for a friend's neice...I enjoyed making this one, I used Marianne's anja corner die, along with a fleur de lil nestie...added a few flowers from wild orchid crafts, pink organza ribbon, few pearls and the 21 was cutout from a die set.....I also made a box to go with it but forgot to take a picture of it...senior moment there...Iam entering this card into the following challenges;

My son's football trophy

Hi, we had our Football presentation on Saturday night..and this is the trophy my son won...he has been with the club for ten years, so he got presented with this lovely glass trophy....

Good Morning,
This will be my last card I post on my blog until Monday now...Ive got a busy weekend ahead, my husband's football team has their presentation award night tomorrow, so will be busy sorting stuff out...However onto my card; I used this stamp yonks ago, was a freebie years ago with a magazine subscription..I forgot just how lovely it was...I coloured it with promarkers...Backing paper was again from a sample pack purchased off ebay, memory box die, flowers from wild orchid crafts and ribbon from stash...I have since put some candy on the ribbon where the glue marks are.....Thanks for popping by...happy crafting...Lorsxx
